Sun damage

Freckling, brown patches and roughened texture on the face, chest and hands.

Sun damage accumulates quietly over decades and shows up as uneven pigment, thinned texture and lines. Most of what people call ageing is photodamage.

We assess the pattern, ask you to photograph anything that has changed, and refer promptly if a lesion looks like it needs a medical opinion.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is it too late to protect my skin?
No. Daily protection slows further change at any age.
What about a mark that has changed?
Please see your GP first. Any lesion that is changing, bleeding or itching needs a medical opinion before cosmetic treatment.
Can pigmentation be fully evened out?
Often improved, rarely erased. We tell you which of your marks are likely to shift.
