Apart from the two items under Strictly necessary and Website host below, nothing is set unless you agree in the cookie banner. You can accept all, reject all, or choose, and change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. We keep your choice in your browser for 12 months, then ask again.

Strictly necessary

Your cookie choice itself, stored in your browser (tfw-consent). It holds no personal information and is needed to respect what you chose.

Website host

Our website hosting provider counts visits for its own statistics. It uses a session cookie (session-id) that holds a random identifier and expires after 30 minutes. It holds no name or contact details. You can block it in your browser's settings without affecting the site.

Analytics, only if you accept

• Google Analytics, with Google Tag Manager for a few click counts (calls, emails, booking): counts visits and how pages are used (cookies _ga and _ga_*, up to two years).
• HubSpot: how visitors use the site, linked to an enquiry or signup if you send one (cookies hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc and __hssrc, up to six months). HubSpot only loads if you accept both analytics and marketing.

Marketing, only if you accept

• Google Ads: tells us whether a visit came from one of our adverts (cookie _gcl_au, three months), and lets us show our adverts again to people who have visited.
• Meta: measures our adverts on Facebook and Instagram and lets us show them to people who have visited (cookie _fbp, three months).
• The Meta and Google Ads remarketing tags are loaded by HubSpot, so they only run if you accept both analytics and marketing.

Changing your mind

Open Cookie settings at the foot of any page. When you withdraw a choice we tell Google and HubSpot, ask HubSpot to remove its cookies, and reload the page so nothing keeps running. To clear cookies already set, use your browser's settings.

Booking

Booking happens on our provider's own website, Aesthetic Nurse Software, rather than inside this one. Our booking page links out to it. Any cookies set there are governed by their own notice rather than by ours.

The online shop

The shop at shop.thefaceworkshop.co.uk is a separate site with its own cookie notice. Visiting it is leaving this website.

Controlling cookies

Every current browser allows you to block or delete cookies, either for all sites or for individual sites. The controls are usually found under privacy or site settings. Blocking cookies on our booking provider's website may prevent an online booking from completing, in which case you are welcome to book by telephone.
