What Are Dermal Fillers?
What is it and how does it work?
Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid and are injected into the skin to provide additional volume to the face in areas such as the cheeks, lips and jawline. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps maintain moisture and volume in the skin. It is broken down by your body over time.

A 60 minute appointment is required for this treatment.

We use dermal fillers to address a patients concern relating to loss of volume with natural ageing and/or enhancing natural beauty.
How Often Do you need a treatment?
The length of time filler lasts depends on the type of filler and the person, but generally anywhere between 6-18 months.
Do dermal fillers hurt?
For lip treatments we will use a topical anaesthetic to help numb any pain. For all treatments you will feel a sharp scratch when the needle is entering, but most patients find the sensation tolerable.
When Will I notice Results?
You will notice the results from dermal fillers immediately.
Is There any Recovery Time?
Immediately after the treatment, patients may experience slight redness, swelling or tenderness around the area that has been treated lasting up to 7 days. You should avoid touching or rubbing the area and avoid any flushing activities for 24 hours such as drinking alcohol, visiting a sauna or exercising.
